Paulson has announced a price increase of at least five cents on all of its retail chip lines. This is, of course, bad news but you do have time take advantage of our current low prices.
You have until Friday, February 15th end of business day to purchase chips at the current prices.

All orders must be finalized by 1pm Pacific Standard Time, February 15th, 2008.

This announcement overrides all other previous announcements regarding chip prices for the Paulson retail lines.

It always seems that the Sunday before Thanksgiving is the calm before the storm. You almost want to step outside and see if the skies are red.

What does this season hold in store for us?
Is the Thanksgiving turkey going to be dry?
Is grandma going to drink just a little too much before Christmas dinner?
Did I get everyone a gift?

Well along with all the questions and worry usually comes decorations and shopping and then more worry and more shopping.

So we here at Old West Games thought we would start with the decorating and leave the shopping to you. We decided to start with our friendly mascot.

It’s really his first Holiday season because we just added him to our site this year. So what better way to get in the spirit of the season than with a Santa hat?

This is just the beginning of our changes for the holiday season. You can look forward to some special sales, some outstanding auctions on eBay and some package deals for those special gifts that pack a wollop.

Paying with PayPal is quite easy and very safe. If your PayPal account is set up the right way and your payment is made with a PayPal confirmed shipping address then your purchase will go nice and smooth.

Many times customers don’t realize that when they DO NOT include a confirmed shipping address with their payment we CANNOT verify that the payment is valid and authorized.

So we wanted to make sure that everyone knows exactly how to confirm their shipping address with PayPal.

How do I confirm my shipping address?

Here’s how you can confirm your shipping address:

1. Add a credit card to your PayPal account. By adding a credit card to your account, PayPal can attempt to confirm your address with your credit card company. If the credit card company is not able to confirm your address, you may be asked to complete the Expanded Use enrollment process to activate your credit card. Your address can be confirmed after that process is complete. Note: Not all credit card companies are able to confirm addresses.
2. Apply for PayPal Buyer Credit. If approved, the address on your application will be a confirmed address.
3. Complete Alternate Address Confirmation. This process takes several days and is only available for U.S. accounts. To learn more, log in to your PayPal account and visit the Alternate Address Confirmation page.

This is the most important step in making your payment with PayPal. It is the only way that we can affirm that your payment is authorized. It actually protects us from credit card/internet fraud. This also means that someone cannot use YOUR CREDIT CARD OR CHECKING ACCOUNT on our site to make an unauthorized purchase. It protects us both.

And because we are a verified business member of PayPal you are always protected when using PayPal to purchase products or services on our site.

We have fought the urge to abandon our expensive and risk-laden merchant credit card processor. Being a small, family-owned business we have to take care with each and every transaction. More often than not the internet is a safe and convenient way to sell and buy products. We have to be sure for the sake of our company and customers we have to be vigilant about how secure our site is for doing business. We also have to search for ways for our customers and us to save money on each and every purchase. An informed customer knows that the higher our overhead is the more they will pay for our products.

We have come to realize through our own experience that processing your credit cards through a merchant account with a regular merchant credit card processor is increasingly expensive. Merchant credit card processors are also more likely to authorize a purchase made with a stolen credit card. Often this is to insure that it is not too difficult for their users to make purchases online which means loosening the security hoops that customers have to jump through.

We are all for making things easy for you our customer but we also want you to be confident that someone cannot use a stolen card (which could possibly be your stolen card) on our site to purchase products without authorization. This means tightening up security. It also means you might have to take a couple extra steps (mere seconds or minutes often) to make a secure purchase.

All of our research continues to point in a familiar direction - PayPal.com. The truth is PayPal is the most economical method for us to process your transaction online.

PayPal processes upwards of $5 billion dollars in transactions every year. PayPal is endorsed and praised by StaySafe.org and The Better Business Bureau.

We are excited to make this move because it means we can pass on savings and discounts to our customers. Making this move will keep us in business and hopefully thriving as we move into the 2007 Holiday Season.

I wanted to explain the discounted international shipping that we offer in a little more detail. For the sake of our international customers we will try to be as detailed as possible.

If you know what you want to order and you simply need a shipping rate please simply send us an email with the details of your order, your shipping addresss, your PayPal email address and we will send you an invoice through the PayPal invoicing system. If you do not want to use PayPal we can always work something else out.

Please read the following details to further understand what will and won’t fit into Flat Rate boxes and envelopes.

The biggest problems with international shipping are cost, weight and dimensions. There are few inexpensive options in the shipping industry. The best option we have found for discounting postage is through the United States Postal Service (USPS). They offer a service called Priority Mail International (PMI). In order to get the best rate possible the shipper needs to use Flat Rate boxes or envelopes that are provided by the USPS specifically for PMI. The products that are being shipped have to FIT INSIDE the Flat Rate boxes or envelopes and the weight of the package has to be no more than 20 lbs. or 9 kilograms for the boxes and no more than 4 lbs. or 1.8 kilograms for the envelope.

THE ENVELOPE

• Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelopes can be used for both domestic and international shipping:
• Available anywhere in the U.S. for $9.95 USD
• One rate to Canada and Mexico for $16.00 USD
• One rate to all other countries for $16.00 USD
• 4 pound (1.8 kilograms) maximum for international shipments
• The dimensions of the envelope are 12 1/2" X 9 1/2" (31.75 cm X 24.13 cm.
• The contents of the flat rate envelope must be confined within the envelope, using the flap adhesive as the primary means of closure.
• The flap must close easily, adhere to the envelope and may be secured with tape if desired.
• The design and shape of the envelope may not be altered or enlarged in any way to fit the contents.

• The inside dimensions for the two boxes available are 11″ x 8.5″ x 5.5″ (28 cm x 21.5 cm x 14 cm)
  • and 13.625″ x 11.875″ x 3.375″ (34 cm x 30 cm x 8.5 cm)
• The two boxes are different shapes to accomodate a variety of contents.
• The contents of the flat rate box must be neatly contained inside the box with adhesive packaging tape.
• The box must close securely and retain its shape when taped with adhesive.
• The shape of the box may not be changed or enlarged to fit its contents.
